Opening Doors to Friendship 
Nashoba Valley Neighbors, formerly Acton-Boxborough Newcomers & Neighbors, is a nonprofit, adult social organization that welcomes both new and established people from Acton, Boxborough, Harvard, Littleton, Maynard, and Westford. 

Nashoba Valley Neighbors is a great way to meet neighbors in the area, build lasting friendships and create special memories. There are a variety of activities throughout the year including book group, dinner outings, wine tasting, lunch bunch, movies and other fun events (see Interest Groups and 
Calendar for details).  Members may get involved in NVN as much or as little as they desire or as their time allows. There is definitely something for everyone. Please browse our website to find out more and learn what fun it is to be a NV Neighbor!

Dinner Group

  • Fruitlands Annual Bonfire, Saturday November 3, 2018 at 5 PM Help us say goodbye to the 2018 Main Season in style! We'll host our 7th annual bonfire on November 3rd. The event begins at 5pm and the fire will be lit as night falls around 6:15pm. Glow sticks, and s'more kits will be for sale (with a small fire pit for roasting marshmallows--we're not that crazy) and guests will be encouraged to write down a wish and tuck it in the large structure before we light it afire and send our hopes and dreams into the night sky.   • Food Truck Fridays - Friday June 29, 2018 at 4pm (ish) Let’s meet at Nashoba Valley Winery (100 Wattaquadock Hill Road Bolton, MA 01740) and enjoy the lovely veranda, spectacular views and local cuisine from mobile food vendors. We listed this as a 4:00 start but realize people may arrive at different times. Let us know when you expect to arrive so we can determine best seating options.   • MindTrek Virtual Reality - Saturday April 21, 2018 at 5pm Join us for Virtual Reality Fun at MindTrek VR in the Apex Entertainment Center in Marlboro at 5pm on Saturday April 21st.MindTrek VR (https://www.mindtrekvr.com/) is a virtual reality gaming arena, in which our group will be outfitted with VR glasses, microphones, headphones, and virtual guns.  We'll be fighting against the evil zombies and/or other nasty creatures.According to the website, two other limitations: 1) *Guests must be 13 years of age or older. 2) **Glasses cannot be worn in this experience.  Contacts are encouraged.
