NVN Adopt a Street, June 27 9:00-noon

Time to get out, breathe that fresh air, meet in person with NVN friends (with a mask and at a safe social distance, of course!) and help with our Community Service project! As most of you know, we championed the Adopt-a-Street program with the Acton board of selectman who loved the idea and set the program up. We take care (4 times per year) of Main Street between Post Office Square and the lights at Route 119/2A (little less than a mile), picking up the litter left behind by naughty drivers!

Please join us for our first cleanup of 2020 on Saturday, June 27th (rain date June 28th) at 9 a.m. in the CVS Parking Lot at the corner of Main Street and 119. NVN will provide gloves, grabbing tools (so you don't have to touch any trash), vests, trash bags as well as tick repellent for both your body and your clothes. Please bring your face mask and a lawn chair. If you have a wagon, you might want to bring it with you so you don't have to carry the garbage bags.

Following the clean up, we'll meet back up in the parking lot and head to Blackbird Cafe for brunch, lunch or whatever your stomach is telling you to eat! We'll enjoy our food and drink while sitting by our cars, in our lawn chairs, observng social distancing guidelines! Don't miss this opportunity to do a good deed for your community as well as reconnect with friends you haven't seen for many months!

So that I know how many to expect, please RSVP to this evite at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to seeng many of you on the 27th!
