Sunday, August 13th 3 pm - Summer Go Karting Event - Open to All Members

We are planning a summer OUTDOOR Go Karting event, and are opening it up to all members (Ladies – start your engines!)After the success of the indoor racing last year we have decide to step it up a notch and tackle the outdoor F1 Circuit in Bridgewater.

These karts are significant increase in power over the indoor version (about double the horsepower) and the outdoor circuit is approximately 1 mile in length. The karts do not have power steering (or cup holders!) so it is both exhilarating as well as strenuous.

We are planning a Grand Prix Package this gives us:

Each driver gets:

3 x 8 lap qualifying races

1 x 10 lap Final on the red circuit.

We are limited to a maximum of 15 drivers and a minimum of 13.  So this will be a first come first served registration

Drivers have to be 18 or older with a full license.

Cost is $80 per person

This event will be held on Sunday, August 12th at 3:00pm.

There is a 1 hour briefing and safety session followed by the racing which takes about 1 hour.

For those interested we will stop off on the way back for refreshments.
